Georgetown Christmas Tree Program

In conjunction with Clear Creek Fire Authority, the City of Georgetown is offering the opportunity to cut down your own holiday tree while assisting with wildfire mitigation efforts! More information and application here, $30 / tree.
National Forest Service Christmas Tree Program

For a more adventurous tree-cutting experience, you can cut your holiday tree on Forest Service land. Information about locations and permits here. You'll need a capable, high-clearance vehicle to access many of these areas.
Georgetown Loop Railroad: Lighted Forest

Echo Mountain Ski Area
Located only 30 minutes from downtown Evergreen on Mestaa’ėhehe Pass (103), Echo Mountain attractions include night skiing and snow tubing! The ski area offers discounted lift tickets starting at $54 for active military, veterans, teachers, and college students.
