For all these reasons and more, Doug is pleased to say that 98% of his business comes from referrals. Originally from Evergreen, Colorado, Doug grew up in a family with a real estate focus. With a mother involved in residential and developmental real estate transactions and a father working on local land conservation, Doug enjoyed some lively conversations at the dinner table! After earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Colorado State University, he purchased his first home at 22 years old — and found the guidance and support provided throughout the process to be lacking. He decided he wanted to help buyers and sellers avoid similar experiences. Doug earned his real estate license in 2005, working first as a broker associate with a major big-box brokerage. In 2009, he joined a smaller boutique firm to work as the managing broker, helping other agents navigate and build their businesses. Then, in 2013, Doug launched Colorado Is Home. The award-winning firm quickly built market share and is proud to rank as the top-producing independent agency in Evergreen. Doug lives in Evergreen’s Hiwan Hills neighborhood with his wife and two children. When the Colorado outdoors beckons him — as it often does — he answers the call with mountain biking, hiking, camping, fly-fishing, and skiing. You’ll also find Doug outdoors volunteering with Evergreen Parks and Recreation to build biking and hiking trails, or with his neighborhood homeowners association, where he serves as president. He has also supported CASA, which promotes court-appointed special advocates for children in the Denver area.

Carol is passionate about enabling others to fully embrace Colorado living. She understands first-hand the unique challenges that are inherent to property ownership in urban and mountain areas alike and strives to equip her clients with local knowledge, helpful resources, and accurate market information to make the best possible real estate decisions for their situations and lifestyles. Seeing real estate as far more than a single transaction, Carol appreciates the weight of her clients’ trust in her as she guides them through a highly personal and meaningful life decision. Carol’s past professional experience analyzing risk, examining contracts, and navigating litigation as a commercial insurance underwriter and adjuster brings a thoughtful perspective to her approach to real estate. After ten years in insurance, she made a significant career change to work near her home in Evergreen to learn the real estate industry as an admin to a team of Realtors. Carol later joined Colorado Is Home with the goal of bringing the best possible value and a high level of expertise to her clients. When she’s not helping clients, Carol enjoys exploring small mountain towns and ghost towns, hiking, camping, skiing, and fly fishing with her husband and their three dogs.

Blake was born and raised in Colorado. He has lived in Centennial, Littleton, and now Evergreen. As a Colorado native Blake has been able to experience all of Colorado and is able to use that knowledge in the buying and selling of Real Estate for his clients.

Katie has spent her whole career dedicated to ensuring that her clients have the best experience possible. From working with high net-worth individuals in wealth management client service and operations to helping young families find their first home, Katie has always been focused on understanding individual needs and delivering the right outcomes. Born and raised in Indiana, Katie moved to Denver in 2008. After almost a decade in financial management and real estate in the Denver Metro area, Katie and her husband made the move to Evergreen with their then 7 month old son drawn by the community feel and their love of the mountains. They enjoy the easy access to skiing and hiking trails and the laid-back mountain lifestyle. She has a passion for traveling and historic architecture, but her greatest love is her family. When she's not working, you can find her volunteering at Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen or out exploring new art or yoga classes. Katie naturally connects with those around her and her mission as a Realtor is to provide clients with an effortless and enjoyable experience when purchasing or selling their home.

Cynthia has been helping people buy and sell homes for over 2 decades. She’s passionate about service to others and attributes her empathetic approach to her success as a broker and why she’s her client’s trusted real estate resource. Cynthia uses her extensive experience to help her clients make the best choices for them and their families. Cynthia’s dedication to service has echoed throughout her professional and personal life. Prior to her career in real estate, she was a decorated law enforcement officer. She’s also a life-long learner and avid reader. Originally from the Washington, DC area and a graduate of Morgan State University, Cynthia has served as a commissioner and former chair of The City and County of Denver’s LGBTQ Commission and served as president for a local chapter of a global business networking organization. When not serving clients, Cynthia enjoys road-tripping throughout Colorado and the Southwest, hiking with her dogs, gardening, listening to her vast album (yes vinyl) collection, or curling up with a great book.

My name is Abbey Robinson and I have enjoyed home interior design and home staging since moving to Colorado in 2014. I strive to help each of my clients elevate their home to new levels. Whether they are staying in their home or needing to revamp so they can sell, I like to approach each project with new up-to-date ideas. I have my professional home staging certification through The Home Staging Institute and find staging one of the most important aspects to selling your home in a quick and efficient manner. Selling a home can be an emotional and overwhelming process and I help to make the transition easy and enjoyable. I live in Genesee and can help clients achieve their home selling goals in all of the surrounding communities. My family and I love to travel, be with our family pets, and attend lots of sports games!
